In the early 20s, most women used cream or ivory colored face powder. Later, during the mid 20’s, a powder corresponding to the natural hue of the skin, and perhaps even a nuance brighter, came into fashion.
- Rouge colors: rose, raspberry and orange
- Lips were colored in deep red, deep brownish reds, plum, and orange, and were applied as a “Cupid’s Bow,” exaggerating both the upper and lower lip, while slightly de-emphasizing the width of the mouth.
