Eyebrows were plucked thin, or shaved off entirely, and were drawn on with an eyebrow pencil and extended well toward the temple. To achieve the look of the day, the mouth would have full lips with an elongated bow that rounded and flared at the corners, which was called the rosebud mouth or bird mouth. Lips typically were orange, or Chinese red, while some chose light rose and raspberry tones as was fashionable in the 20’s.
